4.29 CROMS:
Clearcorp Repo Order Matching System (CROMS) is an STP enabled anonymous Order Matching Platform launched by the Clearcorp Dealing Systems (India) Ltd on 27th January 2009 for facilitating dealing in Market Repos in all kinds of Government Securities.
It enables dealing in two kinds of Repos:
- Basket, and
- Special Repos.
4.30 Money Market Instruments:
Money Market means market where money or its equivalent can be traded. Money is synonymous with liquidity. Money Market consists of financial institutions and dealers in money or credit who wish to generate liquidity through short term borrowing and lending.
Money Market is a part of the financial market where instruments with high liquidity and very short term maturities are traded safely. In short, money market is a market where short term obligations such as treasury bills, commercial papers and banker’s acceptances are bought and sold.
